Biography:

Deborah Corsini is an American artist. She is known for her wedge weave tapestries, her work is exhibited internationally and is included in U.S. Embassies and in numerous key galleries and museums such as Mesa Contemporary Arts (MCA) Museum. She has a lifelong passionate interest in the study of textiles, textile cultures and the making of textile art. A weaver for over 50 years she is a studio artist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the FiberArts Guild of Pittsburgh and the Black Sheep Handweavers Guild. Deborah Corsini was a 2016 Fibeart International participant. She is trained in the French/American style of tapestry weaving, a slow process that requires patience and precision. Her work is characterized by its vibrant colors and intricate patterns. Deborah Corsini's tapestries are a testament to her mastery of the weaving technique and her passion for textile art.
