Dehua, China

Biography:

Dehua is a town located in Fujian province along China's southeast coast. It has been producing ceramics since the 10th century and became known for its white porcelain, or 'Blanc de Chine', during the Ming dynasty (1368 – 1644). Dehua potters created a wide range of white wares and other ceramic products of varying quality. The town still thrives as a center for porcelain production today.
