Deng Guoyuan is a Chinese artist born in 1957 in Tianjin. He has spent his entire life studying the garden, interpreting it in front of the treasure of thought and knowledge of the old Chinese tradition, in particular of Taoism, in which the garden is regarded as a microcosm of the universe. He is a successful artist who has been working in China for decades and was also President of the renowned Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts until the end of 2018. Deng Guoyuan's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 1,805 USD.
