Donna Burak is an Aboriginal Australian artist born in 1972 in Milikapiti, Tiwi Islands, Northern Territory, Australia. She is a Tiwi woman who uses her skills to pass on the traditions and language of her people. Her first piece to be offered at auction was 'Purrukapali and Jilamarra; Kulama' at A.N. Abell Auctions. Her work has been auctioned multiple times with realized prices ranging from 50 to 1,500 AUD. She is represented in the collections of the Australian National Maritime Museum, the Art Gallery of South Australia, and the Australian Government's art collection. Her work is also featured in Google Arts & Culture.
