Dorothy Cross is an Irish artist born in Dublin in 1956. She works with various media, including sculpture, photography, video, and installation. Her work explores themes of sexual and cultural identity, personal history, memory, and the gaps between the conscious and subconscious. In 2009, she was described as 'one of Ireland’s leading artists' by the president of UCC.
