Biography:
Edoardo Sonzogno Editore was an Italian publisher, born in Milan in 1836 and died in 1920. He was the son of a businessman who owned a publisher, Casa Sonzogno, and a bookstore. Sonzogno reduced his activity and retired to private life in 1909, ceding the newspaper Il Secolo, which he had founded in 1873. He is known for his role as a publisher and for his contribution to the Italian publishing industry.
