Edwin Nunguk is a versatile Yup'ik artist from Alaska, known for his intricate carvings and capturing the essence of Yup'ik culture through his art. He explores various subjects such as polar bears, walruses, dancers, hunters, and fishermen in his work. Nunguk is an enrolled member of the Native Village of Savoonga on St. Lawrence Island, Alaska. His artwork has been featured in exhibitions like 'Alaska - Life of the Arctic Tundra' at Stonington Gallery and 'Song of the Sea' at U.S. Department of the Interior.
