Elijah Goodwin, also known as Elija GODWIN, is an American track and field athlete born on July 1, 1999, in Covington, Georgia, United States. He is a 400m sprinter who has achieved significant milestones in his career. In 2022, he won a gold medal at the World Championships. Elija has also competed in the Olympics, earning a bronze medal in 2021. He is currently a senior at the University of Georgia, where he has been recognized as the 2019 SEC Co-Men's Freshman Runner of the Year and a 2021 NCAA Outdoor First Team All-American. Elija has also appeared in the 2007 film 'Day Zero'.
