Biography:

Elizabeth Barreto Ortiz is a visual artist, illustrator, muralist, and plastic arts educator from Bayamón, Puerto Rico. She was born in 1987 and is known for her work that is influenced by Puerto Rican popular culture, animation, guerrilla art, urban art, and design. Barreto Ortiz has exhibited her work in various museums and galleries, including the Museo de Arte de Bayamón and the Museo de las Américas. She has also been a member of the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) since 2018. In 2021, Barreto Ortiz created a mural titled 'Reminiscencia en movimiento' for the Museo de Arte de Bayamón.
