Emilio Ferrera Patricio is a Belgian football manager and former player, born on June 19, 1967, in Schaerbeek, Belgium. He is currently the coach of the U21 squad of Gent. Ferrera has managed various clubs across different countries and continents, mainly in Belgium, but also including Greece, Luxembourg, Saudi Arabia, and a short stint in Mexico. He started his coaching career in his twenties and has led teams such as Club América, Panionios F.C., and Sint-Truidense V.V. Ferrera is known for his work with young players, having coached the Anderlecht youth team, which included Romelu Lukaku and Adnan Januzaj. He is also the father of Yannick Ferrera, a Belgian professional football manager and former player.
