Emily Floyd is an Australian artist born in Melbourne in 1972. She works in public art, sculpture and print making. Floyd's family were toy makers in traditional European styles, and she learned the skills and use of machinery from them, which are reflected in many of her sculptural works. She has been commissioned to produce multiple public art sculptures in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.
