Biography:

Erol Akyavas was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1932. He studied at the Fine Arts Academy in Istanbul, the Bedri Harmi Atlier, as well as the Florence Fine Arts Academy. He was a prominent Turkish artist known for his abstract and expressionist paintings. He passed away in Istanbul in 1999.
