Biography:
Fernand Maillaud was a French painter, illustrator, ébéniste and tapestry designer. He was born on December 12, 1862 in Mouhet, France and died on August 30, 1948 in Paris, France. He is known for his landscape paintings of the Berry and Limousin regions, as well as his paintings of Venice and Flanders. He was a member of the Crozant School and was influenced by the works of Ferdinand Humbert. He exhibited his works annually at the Salon from 1896 until his death.
