Filippo La Vaccara is an Italian artist born in Catania, Sicily in 1972. He graduated in Sculpture at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Catania, Sicily, in 1994. His artistic career began in 1998 with a solo exhibition curated by Francesca Pasini at Viafarini in Milan. La Vaccara's work has been exhibited in various institutions, including the Museo Riso in Palermo, Italy, and the La Balade de Seprais in Switzerland. He is known for his use of diverse mediums, including photography, drawings, and notes, to archive images and suggestions that inspire him.
