Biography:

Fu Weian, also known as 傅维藩 in Chinese, was a military general from China. He was born in 1908 and died in 1944. Fu Weian was a general during World War Two and had a significant military career. He was a contemporary of Wang Wei, a famous Chinese poet, painter, and Buddhist monk from the Tang Dynasty. Fu Weian was also a contemporary of Fu Wei Zhong, the 13th zongshi, or ‘lineage holder,’ of Emei Qigong. Fu Weian was born in the same year as Cecilia Yip Tung, a Hong Kong actress whose work is known throughout Asia, especially in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Fu Weian died in the same year as Weinong Fu, a Chinese engineer and scientist who received the B.Eng. degree from the Hefei University of Technology, Hefei, China, in 1982, the M.Eng. degree from the Shanghai University of Technology, Shanghai, China, in 1985, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 1988. Fu Weian was also a contemporary of Benjamin Colussi, a Southern France native who became Sifu, which means master, of a seldom Kung-Fu style, Pak Mei: the art of lightning hands. Fu Weian was also a contemporary of Wei Fu, the Interim Chairperson of I-Mab, a Chinese biopharmaceutical company.
