Biography:
G. Peter Jemison, of the Heron Clan from the Cattaraugus Territory, Seneca Nation, is a multi-media artist and recently retired site manager of Ganondagan, a New York State Historic Park in Victor, New York. His artwork has been shown internationally and he is a foundational figure in the art history of New York City, and especially its communities. He is also a artist, curator, historian, and educator, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum of the American Indian.
