Biography:

Gabriele Amadori (Ferrara, 1945 – Milan, June 25, 2015) was an Italian artist, set designer and director. In the 1970s, he began a synesthetic research on the image of sound, developing his investigation through numerous action painting with some of the best Italian and international musicians. He is best known for his action painting performances with musicians such as Franco Battiato, Demetrio Stratos, and Brian Eno.
