Biography:
Gale Hart is an American artist known for experimenting with new techniques and materials, often incorporating sarcasm and humor in her work. Her art includes paintings, graphite drawings, and sculptures. Hart's sculpture parallels her paintings with the visual language remaining constant: narrative composition, ordered geometry, color choices, and experimentation with scale. Hart approaches all of her work with an eye toward artistic sensibility and technical expertise. She has exhibited her work in numerous key galleries and museums, including the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art. Hart is also an activist, advocating for animal and human rights.
