Biography:

Gbenga Offo is a Nigerian painter and sculptor, born in 1957 in Lagos, Nigeria. He is best known for his expressive figurative paintings and drawings that explore human movement, emotions, and associations through cubist, angular, and abstract forms. Offo has developed a unique style, working with wood and metal. His work depicts subjects characterized by bulging forms and vibrant colors. Offo attended Maryland Comprehensive High School and Zumratu Islamiha Secondary School, and trained as a Graphic Designer at Yaba College of Technology. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Nigeria and internationally.
