Biography:

Gea Casolaro is an Italian artist born in Rome in 1965. She lives and works between Rome and Paris. Her work investigates, through photography, video, installation and writing, our relationship with images, current affairs, society, history. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and biennials, including the 15th Rome Quadriennale and the Farnesina Experimenta Art Collection. Her work has been recognized with several awards and recognitions, including the Italian Council Award in 2017.
