Biography:

Geng Xue is a multimedia artist born in Baishan, Jilin Province, China in 1983. She attended the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and graduated with a BFA in 2007. In 2014 she received an MFA from the same institution under the tutelage of renowned artist Xu Bing. Geng Xue's work often explores themes related to Chinese culture, history, and mythology through various mediums including ceramics, porcelain, bronze, and video art.
