Biography:
Kawakita Kaho was a Japanese Nihonga painter. He studied under Kōno Bairei and Kikuchi Hōbun. He displayed his artwork at the Bunten and Teiten exhibitions, specializing in delicate yet powerful landscape paintings. He received the tokusen award at the Bunten exhibition and became a judge for their exhibitions. He also taught painting at Kyoto City School of Arts and Crafts for more than twenty years.
