Biography:

Geoffrey McGeachin is an Australian photographer and author of crime fiction. He was born in Melbourne, Victoria in 1949 and spent a period of time in the US in the 1970s as a commercial photographer. He is one of only four writers who have won the Best Novel category at the Ned Kelly Awards on multiple occasions. He is the author of the Charlie Berlin mystery series, which includes The Diggers Rest Hotel, Blackwattle Creek, and St Kilda Blues.
