Biography:
George William Peters was born on September 3, 1907, in Orloff, Oblast Saratow, Russia. He served as president of Pacific Bible Institute from 1947 to 1952, and as academic dean and professor of theology and missions from 1952 to 1955. In 1955, he became a biblical scholar and theologian, and wrote several books on biblical theology of missions. He died on December 24, 1988, in Fresno, California.
