Biography:
The German Historical Museum (DHM) is a museum located in Berlin, Germany. It was established in 1987 and is dedicated to the history of Germany. The museum is located in the Zeughaus (armory) on Unter den Linden, just across the Spree from Museum Island. The museum's attached Exhibition Hall was designed by I. M. Pei. The museum is under the legal form of a foundation registered by the Federal Republic of Germany and its highest-ranking body is the Board of Trustees with representatives of the federal government, the German Bundestag (Parliament) and the governments of the German Länder.
