Gerrit Duyckinck was an American Old Masters artist who was born in 1660. New York Historical Society featured Gerrit Duyckinck's work in the past. The artist died in the United States in c.1713. He was known for : Portrait painter, glazier. The son of portraitist and glazier Evert (1620-ca. 1702) and Hendrickje (Simons), Gerrit Duyckinck was also a portrait painter, glassmaker and stainer for the New York Historical Society. He was a member of one of the most important families of painters in New York State during the seventeenth century. As a teenager, he assisted his father Evert, who was a glazier in New York.
