Biography:
Gianluca Malgeri is an Italian artist born in Reggio Calabria in 1974. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence and attended the course in Visual arts at the IUAV in the University of Venice. Malgeri's work often has a double register and is considered original compared to other young contemporary Italian artists. He has exhibited in numerous galleries and museums, including the Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius, Lithuania, and the Max Lust Gallery in Vienna, Austria. Malgeri has also designed the new windows of Hermès stores in Japan and has been featured in the Italian magazine Domusweb.it. He currently lives and works in Florence, Italy.
