Juan Vespuccio, also known as Giovanni Vespucci or Vespucci, was an Italo-Spanish geographer, cartographer, and cosmographer. He was born in Florence around 1484 and moved to Seville in Castile, Spain, with his uncle Amerigo. Juan Vespuccio is known for his contributions to the fields of geography, cartography, and cosmography. He served as a patron real of the Casa de la Contratación and was a cartographer and cosmographer. Juan Vespuccio passed away after 1524.
