Biography:
Girolamo Mirola (1530/35 - 1570) was an Italian painter. He worked on the decoration of the Palazzo del Giardino in Parma, along with Jacopo Zanguidi, also known as il Bertoja. Mirola's style is associated with the Emilian school of painting. He is known for his frescoes and paintings, including 'The Rape of the Sabine Women', which dates back to the time when he was engaged at the court of Octavius.
