Biography:
Evala, also known as Julius Evola, was an Italian philosopher and esoteric scholar born in Rome in 1898. He was raised as a strict Catholic but developed an anti-bourgeois approach hostile to both Christianity and contemporary civilization. Evola was a versatile figure, having been an engineering student, artillery officer, Dadaist poet and painter, journalist, alpinist, scholar, linguist, Orientalist, and political commentator. His main focus was on the pursuit of a direct relationship to the Absolute, with the Transcendent at the center of all things. Evola passed away in 1974.
