Biography:
Giuseppe Bertini was an Italian painter, active in his native Milan. He was born in Milan, Italy in 1825 and died in 1898. He is notable for his work as a painter and for his contributions to the Museo Poldi Pezzoli. He was the director of the Brera Academy and played a role in the refurbishment of the apartment that would become the museum. He is also known for his work as a painter, including a work called 'Dantesque window' from 1851.
