Biography:
Hachiro Nakagawa was a Japanese painter of landscapes. He studied under Matsubara Sangoro and Koyama Shōtarō before traveling to Europe in 1899. In 1902, he co-founded the Taiheiyo Gakai with Maruyama Banka. Nakagawa specialized in Western-style landscape paintings.
