Japanese Asian Modern & Contemporary painter born in 1932. He graduated from Kyoto Municipal University of Arts and first exhibited in the United States in 1961. Hamada's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 160 USD to 28,264 USD. He works in the more traditional Nihonga (Japanese painting) style.
