Henri Jean Baptiste Jolly was a Belgian painter, draftsperson, and lithographer born on July 21, 1812, in Antwerp, Belgium. He was known for his work in the 19th century. Jolly was awarded the Prix de Rome in 1844 for his painting 'The Love Letter'. He died on January 9, 1853, in The Hague, Netherlands.
