Henry Adlard Payne, known as H.A. Payne, was an English artist born in London in 1843 and died in 1912. He was a painter and engraver known for his landscapes and scenes of everyday life. He was a member of the Royal Society of Painters in Water Colors and the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers. He exhibited his works in various institutions such as the Royal Academy, the British Institution and the Royal Society of British Artists. He was also a teacher and taught at the Westminster School of Art.
