Biography:

Hou Lien-Chin is a Taiwanese artist born in Kaohsiung in 1981. He studied sculpture at the National Taiwan University of the Arts, graduating in 2003, and was trained by his senior, Hsien-Ming Chiang, to practice and learn more about stone sculptures. Hou Lien-Chin is known for his stone sculptures, which are characterized by their high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. His works often depict human figures and are inspired by his observations of everyday life. Hou Lien-Chin has exhibited his work in Taiwan and internationally, and his sculptures are held in private and public collections around the world.
