Biography:
Houston Maludi is a Congolese Postwar & Contemporary painter, born in 1978 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He began drawing at a very young age and developed his own style, the 'Monochromique Cubisme Symbiotique Quantique', in 2008. He studied at the Fine Arts Academy of Kinshasa and has exhibited in numerous key galleries and museums such as Astrup Fearnley Museet. Maludi draws inspiration from Cubist painters such as Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso, and uses a monochromatic palette to create his unique and personal works.
