Biography:
Howard Skrill is an artist and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. He holds a BFA from Suny-Purchase and an MFA from CUNY-Queens College. Skrill instructs college students in studio arts and art survey in Brooklyn and Newark. His work often explores the fate of public monuments and features figurative drawings of figurative public monuments nearby his home in Brooklyn. Skrill's art has been exhibited in galleries in New York and New Jersey, and he has also been featured in the Electric Gallery and MutualArt. He is a member of Park Slope Windsor Terrace Artists and a long-term resident of Park Slope Brooklyn where he lives with his wife and fellow artist, Mary Cuddihee.
