The Imperial Porcelain Factory, also known as the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, is a producer of hand-painted ceramics in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was established by Dmitry Ivanovich Vinogradov in 1744 and was supported by the Russian tsars since Empress Elizabeth. The factory was originally called the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory, but it is now commonly referred to as the Imperial Porcelain Factory or the IPM. The factory is known for producing high-quality, hand-painted porcelain using traditional techniques. It has provided porcelain ware for many of the palaces in St. Petersburg and has exported its products to countries around the world.
