Biography:
Dupuich, also known as J. A. Dupuich, was born in 1990 in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti. He is a diplomat and politician, currently serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Haitians Living Abroad in Haiti since June 12, 2024. Dupuich is fluent in French, Creole, Spanish, and English. He obtained a degree in Social Sciences from Cégep Vanier in 2008 and a degree in Development International from McGill University in 2012. He also studied Traumatismes des migrations forcées at Lancastre University. Dupuich was appointed as the Permanent Delegate of Haiti to UNESCO in November 2020 and was responsible for inscribing the Haitian soup joumou in the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in December 2021. He is currently serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Haitians Living Abroad in Haiti.
