Jan Antoni Rafalski is a Polish molecular biologist. He was born on October 19, 1947, in Poznan, Poland. Rafalski received his Master of Science in Chemistry from Poznan University in 1970 and his Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the same university in 1974. He worked as a research associate at various institutions, including the Institute Organic Chemistry Polish Academy of Sciences and Yale University. In 1984, he became a senior research scientist at E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Company, Inc. Rafalski has been listed as a noteworthy molecular biologist by Marquis Who's Who.
