Biography:

Herakut is a street artist duo who began painting in 2002. Jasmin Siddiqui, also known as Hera, is of German-Pakistani origin and was born in Frankfurt in 1981. She studied Visual Communication and Graphic Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden. Falk Lehmann, also known as Akut, was born in Schmalkalden in 1977 and studied Visual Communications at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. The duo's first collaboration was in 2004 at the Urban Art Festival Sevilla in Spain. Herakut produces both massive murals and smaller works on canvas and paper, and their art can be found all over the world, ranging from Kathmandu to Melbourne. Both members of Herakut live and work in Schmalkalden, Germany.
