Jean David Nkot is a Cameroonian artist born in 1989 in Douala, where he still lives and works. He studied at the Institut de Formation Artistique de Mbalmayo and the Institut des Beaux-Arts de Foumban, where he obtained a license in drawing and painting. Nkot's work is part of several private collections, including the Olym Collection. He has had several solo and group exhibitions in France, including at the AFIKARIS Gallery and the Fondation Dapper. Nkot's work explores the human condition, often addressing issues such as immigration, identity, and the relationship between the body and space. He has been described as an artist without concession, with a sharp and critical gaze on society.
