Joaquim Jose Galram

Biography:

Joaquim José Galrão was a Portuguese luthier, considered the best Portuguese builder of violins and cellos of his time. He had his workshop in Lisbon during the 18th century. Ten instruments built by him are known, five of which belong to the Museum's collection.
