Biography:
Johann Wolfgang Wieland was a German poet, translator, and editor of the time of Enlightenment. He is considered one of the most important writers of the Aufklärung in the Holy Roman Empire and the oldest of the classical four stars of Weimar, along with Johann Gottfried Herder, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, and Friedrich Schiller.
