Biography:
Sepp Kals was an Austrian sculptor born on October 28, 1911, in Kirchberg in Tirol and died on December 30, 1981. He studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule Wien from 1935 to 1939 under Michael Powolny, Theodor Georgii, and Ferdinand Opitz. After serving in World War II, he returned to Kirchberg and later moved to Salzburg. Kals created figurative wooden sculptures, altars, and grave monuments.
