Biography:

Josip Rikard Gumzej was a Croatian fashion designer and one of the founders of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). He was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1940 and died in 2014. Gumzej was known for his work as a fashion designer, creating clothing for many famous people, including Franjo Tuđman, the first president of Croatia. He also designed the uniform of the Croatian Armed Forces. In addition to his work in fashion, Gumzej was also a director of HRT and the owner of the license for the Miss World competition in Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was also known for creating the HDZ slogan 'Zna se'.
