Biography:

Ya-Chu Kang is a multidisciplinary artist working with various media. She was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1980. Kang Ya-Chu earned her MFA from Tainan National University of the Arts in Taiwan. Her practice focuses on questioning the circumstances of the relationship between human, natural and social environments. She seeks to raise awareness about the economic, environmental and emotional effects of globalism through installation, collaboration and object-making.
