Kaumindja is a Kwoma artist from the Upper Sepik River in Papua New Guinea. He was born in 1965 in the Tongwindjam village. He is known for his bark paintings, which are made from sago palm spathe, paint, and raffia. His works often depict figures and designs from ceremonial house ceilings.
