Biography:
Khairullah Rahim is a Singapore-based artist who works across mixed-media installation, object-making, painting, photography and moving image. He is a graduate of Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA. Khairullah Rahim's artworks often touch upon the plight of marginalised communities, including gay men, drag queens, Indian migrant workers and domestic workers. He has exhibited his works in various galleries and museums, including Yavuz Gallery, Singapore Biennale and Tai Kwun, Hong Kong. Khairullah Rahim is also known for his activism and advocacy for these communities.
